When mom's down for the count

Twice this year I've had pneumonia. While neither time has been a party, the last three days have simply wiped me out. And what to do with Daniel while I'm passed out in a haze on the couch?
Well, dad has stepped up. But I've also been stockpiling "Things For Daniel To Do" in preparation for rainy days and school holidays. So he got a new Hidden Pictures book from Highlights, some finger paints (thank God he can clean up after himself) and all of his trains back.
Of course, now I'm staring a week of vacation in the face. Here's hoping there's good stuff under the tree!

"Feeling the Count Down in 2008"

I'm a single mom of three, two girls (7&13) and one son, Twelve. I say everyday God blessed, (I mean really Blessed) for they have made straight A's and never have been called to school by the principle. I had a very bad car wreck in 89' and even to date, I'm now still recovering from back to back surgeries (11/30 & 12/6). I have to have surgery about every for years for the rest of my life, because of having a morphine implant and cathedar put in my spine Basically shoving a rod thru the front of you thru your back. In 2003 while I was on implant failure, (2003) I lost my mom beczuse she walked into the cooler at work, come out and fell to the floor. She died and all I could do was watch. She had picked up a virsus the children had brought home from school and in my heart of hearts, I knew she had been missed diagonised. That's what promted me to respond to your page.Pneumonia is very hard to get over, especially when children are in the home and daycare or schooling are involved. My dad has been fighting C-difficile and that is right up there with trying to get rid of pneumonia fully. I wished I had of went to college to be a Dr. for that would of been my calling, but I'm trying to write a book about my experience with car wrecks, health, surgeries for I've had so many and trying to over come a severe issue with a ,"Fractured Health Care System". It failed my mom, my dad, my children and now is affecting my ability to get health care to be able to raise my 3 children. I have to travel to Thomasville, Ga to get a new implant(that was my Christmas Gift) a Dr. that would even accept my medicade that would get me off implant failure 2times now. Sometimes it just takes hearing someone elses story to realize that I feel I'm could be worse off. If you ever consider writing a book with someone I have stockpiled critical Documents precurring my situation. It was a great pick me up reading your story, and if you would like to e-mail me I'm @ seau3knots@yahoo.com Thanks again for the lift me up with 3 children!
